About Girls in Charge Foundation

The Girls in Charge Foundation was founded on June 26, 2017. The goal of this organisation was born out of the passion invoked in our hearts as we witnessed unnecessary suffering rife throughout the world on a daily basis. Suffering that people like you and me have the privilege to help alleviate. We were stirred up by the vision of creating a platform for girls and women to use their voices. In positive, impactful ways that could be transcendental and absolutely necessary for the time that we live in. We saw that so many girls were full of innovative ideas and creativity to impact the world in ways that have never been accomplished before, with only one disadvantage in life: a lack of money.

The Girls in Charge Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation that focuses on the empowerment of young girls and women from different backgrounds in all parts of the world in hopes that they will be able to achieve their dreams. We fight for girls to be educated in places where they are discouraged or not enough care is given to the nurturing of their minds. We help lay the necessary foundation for young girls everywhere to turn their dreams into reality. So that these young girls in nations and situations less fortunate than most do not have to repeat the vicious cycle that is poverty when they decide to have families of their own, we delight at the possibility that one day these young girls will be able to provide a more comfortable living environment for their own sons and daughters and be in a position to help pull others out of the hopelessness that being destitute can bring about. They will someday help boost the economies of the countries they live in and effect real and lasting change.
